I'm trying something new!

"Not all who wander are lost." J.R.R. Tolkien

For the past five years, I've been on a journey. First to discover what I'm truly passionate about and second to empower others to do the same.

The journey has not been an easy one. I think it was Dan Rather who said, "If all difficulties were known at the outset of a long journey, most of us would never start out at all.”

Every journey has it’s defining moments.

In my 'wanderings,' I stumbled upon a question that totally messed me up — it was a defining moment.

"Are you the hero of your own story?"

I instantly heard a voice inside me cry out, “No I’m not!" If my story was a movie, I wouldn’t be the protagonist, I wouldn’t even be a supporting actor, I’d be an unnamed extra in my own movie. The credits would refer to me as “guy in taxi” or something like that.

I struggled to understand why I wasn’t the hero of my own story. What was wrong with me?

I came to realize I wasn’t living MY story. I was living someone else’s version of my story. It left me feeling lifeless inside.

So there I was, living someone else’s idea of what my story should be. I was at a total loss. I didn’t know what my authentic story was. I didn’t know how to find it. And once I found it, I didn’t know if I would have what it takes to live it.

But what I did know was I had to find my authentic story or die trying! (It honestly felt that melodramatic for me).

So, I did what I knew to do. I read mountains of books, I listened to countless audio teachings, I learned to journal and to listen to myself, and I invested significantly in my growth -- I wandered here, there, everywhere.

And it was worth it. I discovered keys to my hero story — those things that light me up inside! I became a coach, which is a significant part of my hero story. And, as a coach, I learned how to help my clients discover their authentic story (that has turned out to be the biggest part of my hero story.) I am truly humbled that I get to empower others to discover their passion and purpose in life.

I’ve never been happier!

So, why am I sharing this?
Many of you know that, beyond my 9-5, I also work as a coach where I help people discover their true passion, their hero story and create the life they really want. And I absolutely LOVE working as a coach.
In the journey, I've discovered a few ways that help people to connect with their own hero story.
So, I'm going to try something new. I'm going to be hosting a free webinar to share what's worked for myself and my clients. I'm trying to find ways to help more people, and who knows, it might help you!

If you're struggling to live your authentic story, to live most days with passion and purpose...
If you're worried that your authentic story will always be stuck as a fantasy, never a reality...
Or maybe you're not even sure what your authentic story is, then this webinar is for you.

My aim is to help you:
  ** discover your passion
  ** believe in your potential
** create your plan of action
** and make your story a heroic one

If you're interested, click the link below to register. There will be a replay available for those who register, in case you can't make the live event (assuming I get the tech working correctly -- as I said, this is all new to me).

One final thing, would you consider doing a favour for me? Is there someone in your circle of influence that would be interested in this webinar, please tag them in the comments below -- or just share this post on your feed. I suspect there are people out there that I could serve, maybe you can help me connect with them.

I would be honoured to have you join me. Hope to see you on the webinar.
